Ed Jaeger
CEO, CFO
Ed Jaeger has over 23 years experience in financial and manufacturing operations management. Prior to joining Wisdom Audio, Ed had been with BG Corporation (formerly known as Bohlender Graebener) for 12 years where he held the title of CFO and for a period of time was the company's president. During his tenure at BG Corporation Ed was instrumental in managing operations, building relationships with vendors, growing distribution and revenues. Prior to BG, Ed worked as a chief corporate accountant in two different manufacturing companies where he also contributed to operations management: Mission Country Photo Finishing for six years and Twentieth Century Plastics for five years. Ed has a business degree in finance and accounting from the University of California at Berkeley.
Luc Guillaume
Chief Business Development Officer
Luc has an education in both economics (masters degree) and audio engineering (Institute of Audio Research), and entered the audio industry in 1994 as an assistant recording engineer in New York City (River Sound Recording). Following 6 years on the recording side, Luc then became involved in the introduction and positioning of the JBL Synthesis product range outside of the US, which engaged him for 7 years. Luc then worked as the VP Sales of Screen Research for 2.5 years and then joined SmartHome, a Swiss-based integrator, as CEO where he remained until very recently for 2.5 years. Luc’s broad and lengthy experience in the audio industry will be leveraged to assist us as we develop new products, new business opportunities, customers and markets. His audio and product knowledge will contribute to our product development process and assist in the creation of new services for our customers. Last but not least, his management experience will aid us in the development of long-term plans incorporating achievable goals and execution strategies. Luc will be based out of our new Wisdom Audio Europe BV office in the Netherlands.
David Graebener
Executive Vice President
David has been involved with the design and development of transducers and systems for more than 30 years and is an authority on planar-magnetic design. David began his audio career in the late 1970s as co-founder of Speakerlab, a Seattle-based loudspeaker design and manufacturing company. As a pioneer in the development and application of planar-magnetic transducers, David joined Tom Bohlender to found the Bohlender-Graebener company in the early 1990s. David has been sought after as a consultant for transducer development, with a focus on planar-magnetic applications. David is owner of Advanced Transducer Engineering and co-founder of Solution Matrix and has completed design work for Boeing, American Technology Corporation, NCT, Pacific Car and Foundry, Carver, Toshiba, Onkyo and Eastern Asia Technology Company. David has been involved in the authoring of several patents granted or pending related to planar-magnetic transducer design and is associated with the development of more than 130 electro-acoustic designs.
Jon Herron
Vice President, Sales
Jon brings over 25 years experience in both large and small retail operations, as a manufacturer's representative, and as a manufacturer to Wisdom Audio. Most recently as a national training director at Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, Herron led enterprise-level training and technology initiatives directed at both salespeople and installers. At Madrigal Audio Laboratories, Herron was the product development manager for Mark Levinson, Proceed, and other brands. As the director of sales and marketing of Snell Acoustics, Herron directed the company’s efforts into the home theater business in the early 1990s. Herron has authored a book that is used as the core product training program focused on the audio video category for two industry trade groups in the United States, and is the most comprehensive textbook of its kind. Herron has an economics degree from Dartmouth College.
Eric Graul
Vice President, Manufacturing
Eric brings to Wisdom Audio over 13 years of experience in specialized product manufacturing, including process documentation, process flow requirements, and industry-leading quality assurance. Prior to joining Wisdom Audio, Eric served as Production Manager for seven years at BG Corporation (formerly known as Bohlender Graebener). He applied his manufacturing and management experience to efficiently grow the company’s production capabilities. During his tenure with North Sails, a racing sail manufacturer, Eric honed his expertise in production methods and quality control, exceeding the expectations of the company’s high-end distribution partners and customers. Eric has implemented several MRP (Materials Resource Planning) and inventory control systems and together with his extensive knowledge of quality control processes in specialty product manufacturing, will guide Wisdom Audio’s production efforts as the world’s leader in architectural loudspeaker systems. Eric has an electronics degree from University of Wisconsin.
Todd Sutherland
N. America Western Region Sales, VP Marketing & Sales Operations
Todd joins Wisdom Audio with over 20 years experience in the high-end consumer electronics industry. Most recently, he served in operations and sales management positions for five years at Kaleidescape. Previously, he worked with Jon Herron, Jerry Hanna and Mark Glazier at Madrigal Audio Laboratories from 1995-2003, first in inside sales, then in marketing and ultimately held positions as NW regional manager and Revel product manager. Todd began his audio career working for Combak Corporation, a military market electronics distributor and then was hired by Nakamichi Gmbh to oversee the European distribution channel for mobile audio products. Todd’s knowledge of the consumer and custom installation channels, along with his experience in CRM administration, sales and support processes, will help the Wisdom Audio team exceed the expectations of the market’s premiere custom installation dealers and distributors.
Jerry Hanna
Vice President Business Development
Jerry brings to Wisdom Audio an exceptionally broad and global perspective of the high-end consumer electronics marketplace. Over the course of his 30-year career Hanna has held key management positions at the retail, systems integration, and manufacturer levels with both domestic and international responsibilities. Most recently, as VP and General Manager at Rich Green Ink, Jerry directed all aspects of company activity for this highly regarded electronic systems contractor. Prior to this, Hanna served as VP of Sales & Marketing at Aerial Acoustics and was responsible for worldwide sales and marketing for the brand. While Director of Export Sales at Madrigal Audio Laboratories from 1994 through 2003, Jerry was responsible for international sales and business development for the Mark Levinson, Proceed and Revel brands. As partner and General Manager of The Audible Difference in the 1980’s though mid 90’s, Jerry contributed substantially to the success of what was widely considered to be among finest high-end retail/custom businesses in the United States. Jerry’s extensive background and wide-ranging abilities enable him to contribute significantly to Wisdom’s business and consumer relationships worldwide.
